Since our company’s inception in 1953, we’ve provided high quality construction management services for a wide range of commercial, industrial and institutional building projects. We also offer design-build project management in additional to project management for traditional design-bid construction projects.

So what does a project manager do? The Project Management Institute (PMI) defines project management as “the art of directing and coordinating human and material resources throughout the life of a project by using modern management techniques to achieve predetermined objectives of scope, cost, time, quality, and participating objectives.” A construction project, no matter its size, has many steps and many moving parts throughout the process. In order to keep everything on budget in addition to on schedule, a skilled project manager must carefully oversee and orchestrate each of these elements consistently. From industry expertise to communication skills to quick thinking and problem solving, a competent construction manager must be able to wear many hats.

When you hire us as construction management, Campbell Construction does not utilize our staff of tradespeople but rather subcontracts the project. Our role is to oversee the project, manage the bidding process, select subcontractors and suppliers for the project, obtain all necessary permits and then direct the day-to-day activities on-site until the project is successfully completed.
